This Privacy Policy explains how Access Flooring Co Inc., doing business as Access Wood Flooring (“Access Wood Flooring”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit accesswoodflooring.com (the “Website”), request an estimate, or contact us. We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and do your flooring project, and we do not sell your information.

Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the estimate request form, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number and the project details you choose to share (for example your town, the type of floors and your preferred timing). If you call or e-mail us, we receive the information you provide in that conversation, such as your contact details, address of the property and project details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server and hosting provider automatically record basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. These server logs are used to keep the Website running and secure. Your IP address is not saved with your estimate request.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). The estimate form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which helps tell real visitors from automated spam. On pages with the form, the reCAPTCHA service is loaded from Google once you start interacting with the page. It collects information about your device and how you use the page (for example your IP address, browser details and mouse or touch activity) and sends it to Google for analysis. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that processing.
Maps (Google Maps). Some of our service-area pages show an embedded Google Map of the area. The map is loaded from Google when you scroll to them. Google then receives information such as your IP address and browser details, and it may set cookies. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to that processing. If you prefer, you can skip those pages; the rest of the Website does not load Google Maps.
Website analytics (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4, connected through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how visitors use the Website — for example which pages are viewed, how visitors found us, the approximate location (such as the city), the type of device and browser, and whether a form was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and sends this information to Google. It does not give us your name, e-mail address or phone number. Google’s Privacy Policy applies, and Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Search data (Google Search Console). We use Google Search Console to see how the Website appears in Google search results, for example which searches show our pages and how often they are clicked. These reports are based on data Google collects in its own search engine; Search Console does not add tracking code to the Website and does not identify individual visitors.
What we do not collect. The Website does not use advertising trackers and does not show third-party ads. Apart from Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA on pages with the estimate form, Google Maps on our service-area pages and the BBB Accredited Business seal on our About page (an image loaded from bbb.org, which shows our current BBB status), it does not load fonts, videos or other content from outside services. Please do not include sensitive information (such as payment card numbers or Social Security numbers) in the form.
Cookies
We use cookies for website analytics (Google Analytics, described above) and not for advertising. WordPress, the software that runs the Website, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the Website. On pages with the estimate form, Google reCAPTCHA may set a cookie that it needs for spam protection, and on service-area pages the embedded Google Maps may set Google cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
How we use your information
- to respond to your questions and estimate requests;
- to prepare estimates, schedule visits and carry out the work you hire us for;
- to keep records of our jobs, invoices and communication with customers;
- to protect the Website against spam, abuse and security threats;
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your consent.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only when needed:
- with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website hosting company and our e-mail provider, which store or deliver information on our behalf, and Google, which provides the website analytics, reCAPTCHA spam protection and embedded maps described above;
- when required by law, court order or other legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public;
- as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
How long we keep information
Estimate requests are stored in the Website’s private administration area, visible only to our administrators, and are also sent to our business e-mail. We keep them only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, complete and support your project and keep ordinary business and tax records, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited time set by our hosting provider.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, unless we must keep it for legal or business-record reasons. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Send your request to info@accesswoodflooring.com or call (847) 781-0100. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will reply within a reasonable time.
Security
The Website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to stored requests is limited to our administrators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information and to notify you if the law requires it after a security incident.
Children
The Website is intended for adults planning work on their homes. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Links to other websites
If the Website links to another site, that site’s own privacy policy applies once you leave our Website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
