Editorial Policy
Our blog answers the questions homeowners ask us about hardwood floors and stairs. This page explains who stands behind the articles and the rules they follow.
Who is behind the articles
Articles are published under the name of Peter Dudzik, owner of Access Wood Flooring, because they describe how our company works and what we recommend. They are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, using information supplied by our company, and must follow the rules below before they are published.
Our content rules
- Facts about our company come from us. Our services, process, finishes and timelines are described only as they really are. We do not invent projects, reviews, awards or statistics.
- No prices. Every floor is different, so we do not publish prices or price ranges. We explain what affects the cost and give a free in-home written estimate.
- We write about what we do. We do not recommend products or services we do not provide, and we do not accept paid placements or affiliate links.
- Honest advice. When a recoat is enough, we say so. When a do-it-yourself job carries a real risk of damaging a floor, we explain the risk.
- Privacy. When we show our own projects, we name the town only, never a customer’s address.
- Images. Photos of our own work are labeled with the town where the project was done. Some articles also use stock images or diagrams to explain a topic.
General information, not a site inspection
Articles give general guidance. The right solution for your floor depends on the wood, its condition and your home, which we can only judge in person during a free estimate.
Updates and corrections
Each article shows the date it was published and, when it has been revised, the date of the last update. If you notice a mistake, please e-mail info@accesswoodflooring.com or call (847) 781-0100. We review every report and correct errors.
