OUR APPROACH
A practical approach to your floors
Before founding the company, Peter Dudzik spent several years working as an installer, floor sander and supervisor for another flooring company. He opened his own business after learning the trade and incorporated it in 1996. Today we are a family-owned team of four, and with more than 30 years of experience we have completed several thousand jobs — many for customers who come back years later for their next home.
Every home starts with a different question. Can the original wood be saved? Will new flooring work with the existing rooms? Is a recoat enough to refresh a worn finish?
We begin by looking at what is already there. Then we talk through materials, colors, finish options, and the work your project needs. The goal is to help you make a clear decision before work begins.
Our work takes us throughout Chicago’s North Shore, with a particular focus on Winnetka, Highland Park, and the surrounding communities near Lake Michigan.

WHAT WE DO
Floors and stairwork planned together

We also install engineered wood and laminate, and work on stair treads, handrails, and spindles. Planning these elements together helps create a consistent look from room to room and between floors.
